Since you're in Sacramento, the first calls should be to Sacramento Area Animal Control and any nearby parrot rescues; they log found birds and can lend a trap. Posting on Nextdoor and local Facebook lost-pet groups with clear photos and the location works well around here. African Greys often stay fairly close but go quiet when scared, so ask neighbors to check garages, sheds, and dense trees rather than rely on hearing him. I'm in Madison, so I can't help with local searching, but persistence in those channels usually pays off.
