Thank you everyone for your kind words. I love this creature more than I thought I could ever love the perpetually naughty macaw.

Valentino will be 10 months old on June 12th. Time surely has flown. It seems yesterday I opened his crate to take him out and meet him for the first time. That was on December 9th and he was a few days shy of 4 months old. I know most people would think he is way too old to still being fed with the syringe but I keep doing it for several reasons. It helps keep his weight stable and if I ever had to medicate him it will be easy for me to do it by syringe. I also enjoy the bond his night comfort feeding give us.
