It's actually the first time I've ever noticed this,but,if a quaker is a parakeet(small bird with long tail),and it is in the neotropical group,unlike psittaculas(indian ringnecks,derbyan,moustached parakeets,alexandrine,african ringnecks etc.),doesn't that make them a conure?But,they don't have the bare patch around their eyes,and the scientific names doesn't have aratinga or pyhurra in it.Is it like it's own thing?
