I just watched a wonderful Nature show last night called The Souls of Elephants and the filming was spectacular by a couple of Nature photographers that I have watched for years. They are married and have lived in the bush for 30 years. If you get a chance please watch it. I just watched a wonderful show on Nature about the Soul of Elephant. The filming was spectacular. Then shortly after that I see a news article about a huge bull being shot or money in Africa. When are they going to wake up and realize they are killing their own resources. Then I see an article in the news about a big game hunt where a massive male elephant was shot. These so called humans have no idea what a spectacular animal they have killed all in the name of money and trophy. Selling permits to shoot these big game animals is a sin against all man. Sorry for the rant but it really makes me cry.

If you can take an hour of your time and watch this show you will be as awed as I was. See the link and you can watch it on your computer screen.

The film sounds great, the hunting stuff is sick for sure. It's one thing if you need to eat to survive and even then we need to select only what we won't waste. Other than that or being vegan I see no reason to hunt. Sometimes I have to go to you tube and look at videos that show the kindness in mankind because other wise I think I would get depressed at the things we humans do.
I recently watched videos about a silverback gorilla named KoKo, it was interesting but sad also.

What happened to KO KO? I have an autographed photo of her with her trainer which I treasure. Saw them one time at the National Zoo.

O' How cool. I wish I knew, I've checked her blog but not much going on there. She did recently have a Birthday, but still no baby gorilla for her, only kittens :'(.
