    Using artificial grass

    Was just curious I have seen pictures of peoples cages that are using the artificial grass in the bottom of the cage would that be safe for lovebirds I find mine do not seem to like to go to the bottom of the cage

    Willy-Eclectus, Oliver-alexandrine, Mookie-Senegal, Bella- Australian King, Joey and Peewee- Barrabands, Peachiegirl-Peachfront conure, Pepper- crimson belly conure, Peanut-plum head, Babyblue-parrotlette, Harry and Louie-canaries.
    I wouldn't use artificial grass. Too many issues with bacteria, chewing it etc. I just use newspaper.

    Sounds like it'd be hard to clean, if I'm honest. Reminds me of repticarpet in the reptile world, in the way that it's basically a bacteria magnet.

    There are probably some safe grass-like plants you could let them nibble on for playtime, but I'd have to look into it.
