I've heard some things about how they need to be boiled 30-40 minutes for birds, is that true, or is the usual amount for humans okay too?

I've not heard that, is it because of the risk of salmanella?
Our eggs are all disease free and we give them to Casper just as we eat them, nice and runny yolks. Easy over on a raft?
He loves them but only gets about half a teaspoon full

I’ve never heard that. I give my birds hard boiled eggs with the shell once in a while. They love it.
I just gave her half an egg and she loves it!! I put the other half in the fridge for later. Glad she's trying new things.

That’s great that she is trying new things. My birds love eggs too. They also get a little bite of turkey on holidays. Be careful with giving her too much egg. Once a week is plenty.
