    My newly adopted macaw lucky and hubby bird cheiwe duskey headed conure

    New flock members

    So with all the bad stuff going on in my life few things bring me joy one being the boys chewie and lucky the other are my doggos and my kitty but my all time fave is this ive had chickens for almost 2 years now i think lol lost track of time well last year i hatched 2 chicks only one made it today hes a big pretty rooster well on easter morning i woke up to six new chicks they are mixed breeds here are the cute little floof balls

    Ha ha o i know the second pic i say the baby snuggling under mommas wing and i had to tiptoe close enough to get a couple pics and idk i hope they arnt part duck that would be a weird looking creature lol one chick fell asleep in that water bowl woke up started chirping to find his family they do runn around and follow momma hens they was ducklings do i sure hope most of them turn out hens as i have to rooster arledy and i had to seperate them into diffrent coupes

    Willy-Eclectus, Oliver-alexandrine, Mookie-Senegal, Bella- Australian King, Joey and Peewee- Barrabands, Peachiegirl-Peachfront conure, Pepper- crimson belly conure, Peanut-plum head, Babyblue-parrotlette, Harry and Louie-canaries.
    Chicks are so cute and they grow up so fast....you will be getting eggs in no time.

    About 7 months is when they start laying this is my 2 or 3 year having chickens i love it

    Your rooster is cool looking.All the fluff on top his head is cute. Is he a specific breed? The chicks are adorable, you'll have to keep us posted on how they look as they grow older and yes, weather they are hens or not. Having your own fresh eggs must be great.

    Thats actually a hen and yes the breed is called silkie they are chiness chickens the only breed to have blue ear holes black skin and bones from what ive read sadly a crow got three of them so im down to 3 and yes i will keep all three unless i wind up with another rooster as i have 2 roos arledy and yes farm fresh eggs are the best

    I will be keeping them all if they are hens if any are roosters id proly find a new home for him as i have to roosters
