I'm no expert, but he doesn't seem to be distracted from his millet. If he is eating well I would think he's okay. Have you never seen him flip his wing like that before?

It's the first time I saw it. My daughter spends the whole day with him and says he has done it before. We've only had him for 5 days so far. Our last conure never did this, so it concerned me. Thank you.

Your conure may just be adjusting his wing. My birds will occasionally do this as well.
