    Food in Foot

Most of the larger birds are able to hold something in their foot and do it well. I think Linnies must be the smallest species of bird that can do this. Sometimes the balance is not so good but today I caught him with a small piece of grape and he stood for a good while as he ate all of it.

Do you have a small bird that can do this?

1 1/2 year old DNA tested male Lovebird- Nash
Adorable! Nash doesn't really ever have anything that he could eat with his foot because the treats I give him are millet so he just bites it out of my hand, but I doubt he could do it haha he's very uncoordinated!
