We are halfway thru the Winnipeg Pet Show
We are educating people at our display at the pet show.On all birds but our display focuses on macaws, cockatoos and african greys. We have brought along pairs of each except for the cockatoo.Great responce to the display...tons of questions asked and answered. We are explaining both pros and cons of companion birds. Our booth is an education only booth.....nothing up for sale.I think these kinds of shows offer people the chance to experiance the beauty but also volume of these companion birds without the opportunity of being able to impulse buy one...as we as vendors and educators have decided in advance no animals are to be sold at this event. We will get some pictures up in the photo gallery in the next couple days.

I think it's great that you allow the public to experience this! So many people think they want a bird, they know nothing about, but don't live near a rescue to experience them. Looking forward to photos!

I agree, although the good outweighs the "bad" it would really help to see it first hand before the honeymoon period is over and both you and the bird are having second thoughts.
Pics will be great, but ummm what no video? It would be almost as good as being there! Just sayin'
