Oh, wow! I've never thought of doing it that way! I give my 'toos millet but they drop it before it's done and it ends up on the bottom of their cage. Thanks, Dianne!!

Try to give them exercise until flying returns. Kobe came out of cage today and Foley about 2 feet to a tabletop. Then he tried to get back into the cage and fell to the floor. I don't think little birds are safe there.
Exercise is a great idea. The floor, not so great, your babies are so little I would be worried they would find a space I couldn't get them out of.
That is exactly what Kobe does, run under something.
