We have a few Quaker owners on the forum. That is great! A Quaker was my first bird. His name was Sydney but he passed away 14 years ago.
But he was a cutie. My mom used to play peekaboo with him all the time!

Speaking of peekaboo, I've taught Frankie to say "peekaboo, I love you". He loves that phrase. Usually he will start it hoping I will finish it. lol
Deba - I love it when they do that!

I LOVE Quakers!!! I probably would have had one by now , but they're illegal here in California.
We're owned by Hobbit, our beloved baby "Green Chicken"! I know we are proud parents, and only a little bit biased.... But we think our Quaker is the SMARTEST,MOST LOVING,SILLIEST Quaker EVER!!!
He will be 3 months old on June 16th,and already he says: Hi Hobbit, Hi Hobbs, Hi kiddos, Kiss Kiss, Oooo Pretty Pretty, Silly Chicken, Whatcha doin, Hi kiddo Whatcha doin, Love Oooo ( Love you! ), Tickie Tickie -Chickie Chickie( tickle tickle), and he barks like our two dogs! All very clearly!!! He will also make up a funny combination of everything!
We know we are in trouble.....If he's talking THIS well at such a young age, we can only imagine what he will say as he gets older!
Wow! That is great! Sounds like Hobbit is a talkative little tyke! How fun!

He's an adorable little devil!! He brings lot of joy to our lives. We can't wait to see what he comes up with next!
I think Quakers are cute. I have seen them in the local pet shop, in fact they have some now. I dare not go in there any time soon. Thank goodness it is 65 miles from me.
Hobbit is a very smart little 'Green Chicken'! He will have a tremendous vocabulary when he matures.
When I had a Nanday Conure years ago, my son taught him to hide under a towel. He would tell Chuckles Nanday to hide, hide, hide & he would run under & squat down. I couldn't get him to do it, he would only play the game with Jory.
