There's a place in heaven for people like you, and there's another place for people like her original owner! This story has started my day with a smile! She's a very lucky little bird!!!

I can't believe she survived from being that sick. God Bless You. She is beautiful and that is an amazing story. Thanks for telling us Carole

Thanks so much Sarah and Alison. Alison, I couldn't either. The vet said she was sick for a very long time. Possibly since shortly after her amputation. The lasting effects seems to be questionable liver issues, but I am giving milk thistle/dandelion extract to help with her liver. She has gotten better in that respect.{dark morning poop was my concern}
I pray she can live a long life. She is only two.
I would think from all I have read is that with a good diet some of those can be reversed, though I may be wrong. Plus the fact that she is a young bird only 2, her liver would have a much better chance of regenerating itself. She sure seemed to enjoy that bath
