Confessions of a parroty person! (humerous)

Okay, I confess to rifling through Codie's' fruit mix and helping myself to the tasty bits at feeding time. (especially the orange) I have also been known to grab a walnut or two for culinary use.

Time for you all to confess to your birdie sins

I confess to buying more almonds/nuts that I need for baking just so I could give some to the birds. Then I eat most of them,

I buy unsalted cashews for my guys (especially for Zaf, since he loves them so much) and I've been having quite a difficult time refraining from dipping into them, myself. They were $9.99 for a 13.5 oz. container... but now they have reduced the container size to 10.5 oz. with the same $9.99 price. Since I still have to get them, I find myself having a very difficult time resisting the temptation to grab a few each time I open the container .

I also buy plenty of organic bananas for my birds... the problem is that I'm hooked on bananas myself. I crave them with Nutella smeared on them and often find myself eating quite a few. That's usually okay though, since bananas only last for so long anyway - someone has to eat them before they become too ripe. But I can't make any excuses for the cashews

They actually weren't that bad. They had a slight fruity flavor. The texture wasn't pleasant. They were very gritty.
