Here is a pick of my moms new little singer. Does anyone know what kind of canary he is? The breeder said American singer but mom is not convinced. Thanks.

I don't know anything about Canaries, but he is very cute
Thank you. Whatever he is, he's a happy little guy. She woke up to his song already today so she could not be happier. 😀
Very pretty. I too am not familiar with canaries. Good luck find out.
"Nothing that matters comes easy, and nothing easy ever really matters." ~ Lyrics From Ordinary Girl By Rick Springfield
There are so many types of canaries but he looks like my Lucas who is a Spanish Timbrado canary. from a breeder that lives several miles from us and breeds and shows them. If they said it is an american singer it probably is . I think that is the one you find in most pet stores. They are really noted for the way they sing. The spanish timbrado who also comes in tons of colors, is another of the song canaries, as are the rollers, and waterslaggers. I love the sound of a canary in song. I am sure she will have many many years of enjoyment. The only time mine stops singing is during his annual moult. Alison
