    Ringneck Pheasant

I might be getting one if I can talk my hubby into it. A guy at work has one that he's wanting to rehome and would be happy to give him to me if I can talk Jerry into it. I told him I'd do some research on them. I'm finding a lot about the birds themselves, but not much about their diet. They are strictly an outside bird as they love to dig and are ground birds. I'm thinking I could get some hay for him to sleep in and scratch in. I'm just not able to find anything about their diet. Can anyone help me out here?

Here is are a couple of links about them. The males are beautiful birds.

So sorry you won't be able to bring the bird home. Beautiful birds in either case.
