Ok I think I made some forward progress with Abe, he seems to be used to me handling him. I put lots of things in the cage to keep him busy. My friend who seemed to be banned by the bird came back over. He didn't react as badly as last time. I did try the pine nut's thing. He did take them, through the cage from her without any fussing. On a funnier side the bird-blocking part of my life, it has come to my attention that a mood killer can be defined by your Parrot calling out your ex's name and then making porno sounds. What ever happened to "pretty bird"?

I feel your pain on the mood killer! My grey calls for my ex like you would call for a dog. Whistling and all. :D

As a guy it really is funny, my male friends want it on video. But whats upsetting is the fact that it makes ME look like a perv... along with the fact that he is yelling her name and saying things I NEVER SAID in my life to my ex in bed.... :th_omg:

He can be really fun to have around, I tried "birdie headbanging" with him, "respect to Josiesdad" for that idea. He has musical preference... I would have never imagined that. PS he hated country.

my B and G likes to talk to us while we are in the bedroom, she is silent all day, but when that door closes, she goes off, "hello, Hello, HEELLLLOOOO! Sparky, HELLO!" we usually end up laughing our A**** off, but you really have to have the right person, Thankfully my guys are not huge talkers, nor do they speak any names but their own, I could see how that may get awkward. He He, I can see it now, a couple of women around a table with drinks...."This guy had a parrot! and......" just remember that the parrot will in all likelyhood be around a lot longer than any woman.

This is the second post I read that made me laugh hard enough to snort. Just FUNNY as HELL! My best friend watched another friends CAG for two months and they were newly married. The CAG was in LOVE with her husband and learned to call her name in husbands voice and make her love making sounds. Remember they were newly married. I died when I was over at her house visiting and the CAG (named Obi Wan I have to tell you) started calling her and making the sounds. I busted laughing so hard I almost threw up.

Parrots you gotta love em!
