Yuki, was grumpy. She didn't like the fact that an ipad was in her face. Alex in the background.

No-Toes. He is the alexandrine I found a few months back. Still haven't found his old owner :(

More to come

Ashleigh, your Alexs are gorgeous!!!:th_heart: I have never seen one in person, they look big! They look like they make wonderful companions.

I have seen some for sale on Craigslist, but in the Dallas area which is 200 miles away. I'd love to see one in real life if there were any close to me.

Thank you :D
They are amazing companions. They are so gentle, calm, friendly, loving and independent. They are quite common kept aviary/pets here. Along with IRN's. I do admit that these three are such trouble makers :) They love to chew. c:

Wow beautiful birds! I too have never seen one in person. They are bigger then I expected. They look like little goof balls! How are they with kids? Just asking because down the road (in a couple of years) I would like to get my daughter her own bird. She turns 7 today! I will probably go with a parakeet to start but I love hearing how others breeds do as well!

They are beautiful and like many, I had no idea they were that big! I was going to ask if they were chewers but then you mentioned that they were. :). I'm amazed that the dining chair, the one is sitting on, is still intact! In my house, every single chair has been 'touched' by one of my angels!

I would trust my alexandrines with children a lot more than my conures. They are very easy to read, well their body language is. They are so gentle and my three are great with children. Esp Yuki, she was socialised with young children, well she came to work with me. Yuki will be happy to go home with anyone that would feed her. They have be known to not be "cuddly" but my three are cuddly. Alex is only cuddly with my sister and I though. They are also independent. Haha they are big goof balls, who like to make a lot of mess by chewing everything. :p

And a very happy birthday to your daughter :D

They love being out with each other. When they are out together they are trouble :p You always have to keep an eye on them.

They are quite big. But not as big as what more of you guys have :p You should see out other furniture :p Alex and No-Toes are the biggest chewers. I think Alex is starting to learn he isn't allowed to chew the furniture, but No-Toes is a different story. That's why hes not on the dining chair :p
