We have had Josie for a year now and only a few times have we heard her say ola and that was months ago. Tonight we had company and for the entire time they were here, she sounded like she was speaking Spanish. They don't speak Spanish but they understand a little bit and so do I. What the heck? It's funny but I have no idea where this is coming from. She doesn't watch Dora the explorer either so I'm baffled. Any ideas?

That is puzzling if she has been with you since she was young and you have taught her everything she knows how to say. Does she have a large vocabulary of words & phrases? Maybe she is just exploring new sounds & words some sound like to her. Maybe you have a very intelligent macaw who is teaching herself to speak Spanish.:th_hehe: In other words I have no clue why she is doing this, sorry.
