What does this sound mean?

Josie has never made that sound so maybe it is a sound she heard with the previous owner? She doesn't seem upset or anything when she makes it does she?

No, she is just sitting on her perch or sitting on my arm or lap and she just start doing it.

Its just her making a squawking noise...my boy Elliot does it as well but at a much louder volume hahaha.

Yes, Brandy is right on with this. LILO is just do what a macaw loves to do~Squawk! :th_hehe:

And that really sounds like what I call a, "Where did everyone go"? squawk. That's usually the preliminary squawk with my flock just before the true scream occurs if they don't hear from me.
