So I thought I would get the first thread started here, just because. And since everyone like photos, here we go.

Hi Steve!!! Uh-ooooh! I see you're holding a baby B&G there. :th_LOL: Are you guys thinking of a possible addition to Ruthie and Teka??? The baby looks good on you. ;)

And Ruthie is STUNNING! I can never get enough pictures of your fids. :)

No no. I was at a local bird expo to pick up some supplies and that baby B&G flew to me and landed right where you see him. He was not able to go home yet because he was still on liquid feed. But the breeder brought him to the show for the parents to see him. There were a hundred birds there. Personally I would have asked him to leave the baby at home because we have no clue if any of the others there were sick or not.

While he was on my shoulder I ended up teaching them EVERYTHING because they had not done any research yet. They did not know how to handle him and that's how I got him. I had never worked with a baby like that. They are much nicer with the beak than the adults, so it was a pleasant surprise for me. Now I see why Tab has such an awesome time. These strangers now text me regularly with questions. I'm sure I would have loved that kinda help when started also.

That a wonderful thing you did, Steve!!!! That is just AWESOME that you are in touch with the baby B&G's parronts. :) They must have a hundred and one + questions.

Isn't it so adorable how gentle those young ones are with their big beak?

Believe it or not, that is exactly why I opted for a baby Mac when I got my Niko. I was simply terrified of the adult big Macs. Niko's taught me SO much, and thanks to him I've gained confidence handling big Macs. :)
