So I thought I'd share a cute macaw story, I am sitting here on the forums and the door is open to the bird room. It is night but the lights are still on everyone is in for the nighttime meal before bed. And boo is being very talkative. Although it Is a very welcoming talk though;), lately I have been hearing him practice words but not sure what he was trying to say well I got it all now lol!

He is out there saying hey baby, gimme a kiss and then making a kiss sound. Oo it is so great when they learn something new. I'm guessing he picked it up when I tell baby girl my harlequin to give a kiss.

He is now practicing something else I cannot understand, in his previous home they said boo never talked a word! Well I never:p.

Well boo was promised to me by a friend that had taken him in, they said the day they were to get rid of him he was mine as they wanted to see him again so I took the honor of taking boo. Boo is about my only bird that is was not a bird needing help.

Although I will take the compliment of being a ladies man;).

Boo isnt normal lol. He is soo laid back(unless he wants out of his cage) and he is just different in so many ways. I am truly honored to have him. I really enjoy when my fathers greenwing says oww in a ladies voice and then says Reuben bad, but he bobs his head up and down when he does it, it's hilarious! I'll have to get more pictures of boo up.

By the way his name is boo because he was hatched in Halloween:).

Ha Ha JT ,I know what you mean.I have birds saying lots of cool things [Im sure ] and its hard to make what their saying .Sometimes when im in another room I can make it out better.They are always saying [like you said ] maybe your expression .They seem to pick up and not like things im trying to teach them[like Good Morning and Thankyou] . But instead I get Hey Babe ,What the heck , HEY!!!!! and Im sick of this [LOL) :)
