Ruby and her name

I have a crimson bellied conure Ruby who was born in January and I think she is starting to say her name. I am sure it is Ruby she keeps repeating soo cute. I have had some of my conures speak before Laurie a greencheek used to say Kiss when she wanted a Kiss. Lenny said "Alright". Always think it is brilliant that the little birds can speak when you see how tiny they are. Greys, Amazons etc you can almost expect them to be able to talk. Will try to teach her some more words now she is showing an interest.

My CBC tries to talk too but I don't really understand everything she says. I do think she says "want some help?" She picked that up from my quaker. LOL

My blue crowned talker is a better talker then my double yellow head, and double yellows are suppose to be one of the best talkers:p, sounds like she is really coming around, maybe she will start to say more:)!

Yes I wondered about that but I have seen her dad and mum and they are certainly crimson bellied conures and she was breed by a very reliable person who has breed parrots for 30 plus years. Perhaps they are slightly different colours in spain. I know most websites say no crimson belly for 12 months and your darling poppy has a beautiful belly colour already. Ruby has just discovered the new rubber parrot foraging nut toy i have hung up on their play net. I love the way conures are not afraid to try new things.
I bought them a bird bath this week on a pedistal and they have bathed in it already bless them.

Hi, all the CBC´s i´ve seen are like Poppy but I think Ruby´s colours will change in time.
