Say....I really like this simple idea Dawn. I will have to remember this one! I don't drink coffee but I will have to 'borrow' from my husband's stash of coffee filters. :th_shh:

Super toys!! Meiko should be in birdie heaven with those! :th_biggrin:

I love all the color & different shapes. Mine love the wicker type stuff to rip apart. They go for that the first thing.

Oh, he's already torn them up in two days!!! Haha He loves swinging from them and hanging. He LOVES the wicker!!! He'll chew the wood blocks and the beads, but his favorite is the wicker. :) Pretty cheap at Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

Here's a few foot toys I made too... Excluding the iPad, that's mine, even if he thinks its his. :)

Well, some I made. I didn't make the plastic rubber duckie or the wicker round things.

I have bought the wicker balls for mine from Hobby Lobby also. Lately I haven't been able to find them there, not sure if they were out or decided to quit selling them. I am always looking in like the Dollar Stores for cheap things that are safe to use in toy making. As fast as our feathered kids tear things up ya have to shop around.:th_LOL:

Yeah, dollar store is where I got the little rubber duckies and other little fun things. :) The wicker balls I'm always looking for since Meiko loves them so much!! I make toys from dollar store stuff more than anything though. Spent $30 at the dollar store and made maybe 5-6 toys. Better than paying $14-$25 for ONE toy!

i was kindly given some bottle brush branches the other week. so yesterday/ today i decided to make a few new toys for the 3 amigos. i have to hold my self back a bit as i have some great supplies coming in a couple weeks and i also want to use some of the branches to make a playstand off the side of my desk. here are a few pics of the toys so far. they love them

i cut tbe wood a bit thin i think, within half an hr al the discs were off and they were playing with them on the ground.

Great ideas Jade & Amanda! Love the ideas! Here is a toy I made Savannah today. I have a friend who owns 70 acres of forest land. He cuts me down ash trees to make perches and toys with! Savannah really does not like colored toys, so my fingers are crossed she will like this one.
