Yet another friend departs. Bozley, my mother's sweet little Nanday Conure, whom I adopted in 2018 once she could no longer care for him, left life today. I discovered his lifeless body on his cage grate late this morning. He had shown absolutely no signs of illness. I had interacted with him a couple of times throughout the earlier AM. Each time, he seemed happy and quite fine. Strangely, while experiencing the fatal event he made no detectable sound - despite that I wasn't far away.
Bozley was a happy little bird. He could laugh, he could say hello, and he just loved to wolf whistle. He really enjoyed being near me. He would step onto my shoulder and hide behind my neck when it became time to step off. He's the third loss from my accumulated feathered crew of 5.
I'm gonna miss you, Boz Boz :'(
