Bald spot around lovebird's eye

About 10 days ago I noticed a small bald spot around my 19 week old lovebird's eye and it has slowly gotten bigger. I think she is mounting but did not think mounting involves bald spots. I noticed tiny new feathers coming in there but not sure why the bald spot...any one gave any ideas what it could be?

Your lovebird is probably just moulting. This is the time of year it happens and birds will sometimes have bald spots as they go through this. If you are concerned, you should make a vet appointment.
