Here is Harley, my golden conure. Harley has been my dream bird for a very long time. I've only came across two breeders in Canada. I never thought I would ever own one but two years ago, my dream came true. Harley is a truly amazing bird and not a second passes that I regret ever spending the high price on him. He is my world. I love all of my birds but Harley and I have a truly special relationship. I got Harley at roughly a year old...he was already homed with a family and they choose to give him back to the breeder so I adopted Harley.

I could go on forever about him because he is such a well rounded bird. He is everything in one package...lovable, playful, cuddly, funny and yes even a bit of spunk. This bird would let me turn him inside out if I could. There are times it seems he would be happiest if he could crawl under my skin and stay there.

He mumbles lots but I've not been able to understand any words yet. He does cough, sneeze, laugh and gives lots and lots of kisses.

I love this boy to pieces.

Thank you everyone. I will warn you...you get to have a one on one experience from a golden, you'll want one. :)

I was offered a breeding pair for $5000 I really wished I had the money and space. These are some of the nicest birds.

Thank you, he is a gorgeous boy but his beauty is so much deeper then his looks. He has such a wonderful soul about him. If someone didn't fall in love, they better be having a bad day. LOL

They are so beautiful! I know of a lady that has one but never seen it in person yet, I had the offer to buy breeders as well Shelly!

Yes the goldens are very inexpensive in the USA. Canada they are high. Actually one breeder was selling them for $6000

wow!! Harley is a truly amazing bird. Golden Conure's are my all time favourite conure! it must be amazing owning him!

OH it truly is amazing owning him. I do not regret one penny I spent to get him. He is such a well rounded bird and such an amazing companion. It seems like he craves attention. He is not happy unless he can be next to someone and be touched. I don't mind because I am a very physically person when it comes to my pets. He is so gentle and has never bitten me. He gets a little rough when he plays but still nothing that cannot be handled. His first instinct is NOT to bite. He makes this funny sound at you instead letting you know he doesn't want to do that. LOL He does it quite often when he is on my shoulder and I need to take him off. LOL He is truly an amazing companion.
