Bath time

How often do you place water in the cage to let the birds bathe.

Unfortunately, my birds won’t bathe in a nice fresh bowl of water. They use their water bowl that they drink from. I have had some success in putting bowls of water on top of their flattop cages when they are out for flight time.

Gracie will bathe in her water dish if she's really in the mood but most of the time we have to chase her around with a spray bottle. We do this in her cage because she'll slam into walls if we do it out, but I think I'm going to have to take the crash risk to prevent any further rusting since her cage has a slight speckle in spots as is. It's a task! We aim for once a week or once every other week in these hormonal times.
