I'm no expert, but he doesn't seem to be distracted from his millet. If he is eating well I would think he's okay. Have you never seen him flip his wing like that before?

It's the first time I saw it. My daughter spends the whole day with him and says he has done it before. We've only had him for 5 days so far. Our last conure never did this, so it concerned me. Thank you.

Wing flipping and chirruping are both expressions of pleasure - he is enjoying his millet :)

Your conure may just be adjusting his wing. My birds will occasionally do this as well. :th_smile:
