There are two in the pic if you look carefully. There were about five playing in the bow wave of the boat, taking turns.

Harbour seal at Eyemouth (Scotland)

The chap in the boat had just returned to the harbour and was tidying up. The seal waited with its tail on the bottom of the harbour until he realised that he wasn't going to receive a fish supper so he dived under the boat and resurfaced a minute later with a big eel which he had obviously been saving for later. It didn't take long for him to finish it.

There were lots of these funny little chaps bobbing about and diving under when we got close.

This was the boat we sailed in

Bonny Girl is a 36ft Westerly Corsair. I went with Mike the owner and another friend Paul. Between us we have about 150 years of sailing experience.

This is a statue commemorating the Hartlepool Monkey, a strange tale from many years ago

Omg....Casper is awesome!

I love the puffins. Is this a yearly trip? Looks like you had a great time.

This was the first time I had the honour of being invited along, I have suggested maybe we go somewhere warmer next time :)

BEAUTIFUL~~~~ Just looking at those pics made me feel a little cooler. How awesome to get up so close to animals I only see at a distance in a zoo. It sure looks lovely. So glad you had a nice time. Casper is getting pretty good with the ipad, he still needs a bit of work on the puzzle though :th_wink:.
