I will Helena, I have people waiting from last year for quakers.

I had to pull these early because the other eggs hadn't hatched and the with the size difference there is the possibility the smallest would be neglected. I will wait and pull the rest probably early next week. They have already grown so much from this picture. I will post another later today.

Such sweet little babies  ... so helpless and dependent. Congrats on your new temporary family members, Rosalyn :)

Thank you, I am going to have a hard time letting them go. I love it when they are older and they know it is feeding time. I will go to the cage and open the door and they all lunge at me and land wherever. My kids laugh because I will walk and I have birds attached everywhere.:th_biggrin:

They grow so quickly. This picture was taken two days ago; they are 15 and 16 days old.

This picture was taken this morning with all five together. There is quite a size difference between the oldest and youngest. Very entertaining when I take them out of the brooder to feed. They all huddle together and the little one climbs its way to the top.

Great video! They must keep you busy. How often are they getting fed now?

We are at about 5 hour feedings. The oldest are just starting to pick things up with their beaks so the weaning process begins.

:th_hehe: so very cute! Love hearing them ask for their food. Gosh, It must be so very hard to give them to new families but I know you will make sure the families will take super good care of them.

Here they are almost fully feathered and as rambunctious as ever.

So much going on behind those tiny bright eyes - like what mischief can we get up to next :) At least they don't whizz about as fast as Kendra's 'clockwork mice' :)

They do grow very quickly.

I always find it amazing how the personalities are all so different. Just like kids, you can have two or three and they are all so different. There is always one though that is more spunky than the others. Sits in the food dish, splashes in the water, jumps on the backs of the others, bites the other babies tails, etc.

They are funny to watch.

Do they fly yet?

Quakerella

Alice it is wonderful to see them go from the egg to grown, healthy birds. I really enjoy watching the changes that take place.

Yes Jean-Pierre they all are able to fly. Their wings have been clipped due to the dangers; windows, ceiling fans, open toilets etc. It is also hard to hand feed birds while they are in the air.:th_wink: I haven't mastered that tecnique yet.
