So you all know lucky he was supposed to be my hubbys bird but he chose me .... long story short we took lucky to get his nails done at our far but local brid store and we saw these two little dusty headed conures we eneded up going back because he had to have him/her its 8 weeks old and his name is chewie ........ so now our flock consist of a rooster four hens a b and g mac and this adorkable dusty headed conure

We are so happy to have emm im doing my best to let the hubby and the little one bond lol so far i seem to notice this little guy seems to want to be cuddled and held much more than lucky my b and g mac and i do have to say i love his little chirps hes just too dam cute

Thanks and yes he seems like a little love bug im doing my best not to handle him until he and my hubby bond lol its so dang hard lol

Lucky seems fine with it it was super cool when he saw the little bird the first time he said hi to him more like yelled lol so far so good

I'm no expert on quarantining a new bird from an existing one but if you haven't read up on it Jen I think it would be worth the read.

Quarantining is important when you bring a new bird into home. I quarantine mine for 30 days Different room away from all my other birds. You just never know and it really isn't worth taking the chance on possibly getting your other birds ill.

Yes i know all about it arledy we are keeping them seperate and this little guy is 100 percent healthy i know that because of where we got him but were still playing it safe thanks thoe guys
