Haha riding shotgun. John Wayne would be impressed.
Lovely pics. Near freezing, grey and misty here - not good outdoor weather... come on sunshine, we need our vitamin D.

But unfortunately a word of warning is in order. If you drive with him like that and your vehicle either happens to abruptly impact a solid object or you encounter the need to lock up your brakes or simply stop very short, the inertia will likely hurl him into the windshield. Please don't take the chance that it will never happen! :'(

Wonderful pictures, he sure looks happy and healthy.
I have to agree with Tony, I have seen it happen with other animals.
I remember when I was a dog trainer for Pet Smart. We sold a harness with a metal piece on the back that you would attach the seat belt too. It saved me a lot of worry when I had to take our dogs to the vet. Especially when we stopped and they saw something of interest that they wanted to jump all around and lunge at. I don't think I ever saw something like that for parrots that are not in a cage while traveling but maybe one could fix the harness in similar fashion. How horrible it would be to have your baby hurt when you were only trying to take them out for some fun.
I love the pics! I remember my drive home with Amigo, 5 hr. drive. My 15 yr. old son was sitting in the back seat with him, Amigo in a travel cage, when all of a sudden..Amigo comes flying "crash" into the windshield! My daughter was driving, I was sitting shotgun, we were doing 70mph on the freeway and here's Amigo sprawled out on the center counsel! I freaked, my daughter freaks, Amigo freaks and Wyatt says...Oops.. Wyatt had let him out without us knowing. Anyways..we all survived but it could have ended bad. I like the leash idea! :)

Im going to look into the leash idea because i dont think it would be fare of me to just stop bringing him out but i do need to save for a travle cage in the mean time ill have to MacGyver somthing like the dog seat belt thing lady was talking about in the previous post
