Oops! Still getting use to this new iPhone. I took Shaggy out a week ago and he also loves playing in the dirt :)

Mare, how do you know he won't eat something he shouldn't? Do they instinctive know what not to eat outside?

Alice, I only did this with Shaggy because I knew how much Amigo liked it. Amigo would fly to the ground when the new grasses/weeds were coming up. He liked not only to chew those young roots but also the soil around it. We don't spray poison, never had so he was safe in that department. Amigo was selective in what he chose to chew, although, that list of no-no's was short, I truly think they instinctively know after the first little bite.
