Such a rich blue color he is sporting. He would make one of those old fashion silver Christmas trees look awesome next to his beautiful blue self!

Such a beautiful photo! I would never have guessed that their wing feathers were black underneath, what a surprise that is! Sometimes, on cold, moist, winter mornings, we will have vultures hanging out on power poles or dead pines with their wings out like that. I think they are drying them selves. Amigo would get SO pissed-off!!

Such a beautiful photo! I would never have guessed that their wing feathers were black underneath, what a surprise that is! Thanks. And yes, I would describe the under-surface as being charcoal satin. It boasts that satin gloss. It's far shinier than the underside of feathers from other macaw species.
