Why Are You So Embarrassing?!?

I decided to try out my new phones video this morning. Rosie was my unhappy subject. This is what happened when I tried to make sure she was camera ready.

Rosie is such a sweetie and so expressive! I find that as soon as I point the iPad at the birds they either shut up or act up.

I have tried and tried to get a video, but they are just not having it. I have to become a little sneaky I guess.

Oh yes, She is extremely expressive. Especially when she's unhappy. My ornery girl.

What I do that helps take videos of her is I change the camera to the front camera. It's basically taking a selfie video. That way she sees herself and thinks it's the parrot she sees in the mirror in the bathroom. :)

That is a good idea. Unfortunately, I don't have an iPad or anything similar, (I am really behind the times). I have my Nikon and I think the size of the camera is intimidating, as well as the bright green light when taking videos. Hmmmm Christmas is coming.
