I recently got a bag of Harrison's organic pellets (superfine) and it was pointedly ignored by all 3 birds, but this morning I finally coaxed Nika to try it, and she's hooked! She was on a cheap, low-quality diet when I got her, and she would only eat the safflower seeds in the poor quality mix. So first we went to nutriberries, avi-cakes, and zupreem fruity pellets. The fruity pellets made me nervous with all that artificial color, so Harrison's seemed the way to go. I also ordered another bag of slightly larger Harrison's pellets, and a bag of bird-bread mix. Since my budgies won't eat the pellets, I know they'll eat the birdy bread, so at least they'll be getting pellet vitamins that way.
