Thanks :) Me too best part is he pretty much let me put it on I can't wait to start taking him out and about to do things now that I don't have to worry about him flying away if he gets spooked by anything

So cooL! Nash has a harness but I feel larger birds are much easier to coax into a harness than a small little lovie lol he will not go near it!
That's awesome, Jen! Was Lucky ok with you getting him into it?
Savannah, our Sassy girl won't let us get one on her, either.

Oh wow, what a sensible bird. Casper is another daft one who won't have any truck with his harness. The colour suits Lucky too :)

Animals always know who they are safe with. It's obvious that Lucky must feel safe with you. It's a trait/ skill that not everyone has....so you are pretty good at something:th_smile:

That is a HUGE accomplishment! Congrats! Have so much fun bringing your handsome boy around!
Rosie wore one when she was a baby but we had a mishap getting it off once. Now just the sight of it makes her start trembling.

Omg i know i never thought id be able to get it on him it was pretty easy and yes getting it off his head was the hard part but we managed with no problems going to try again today and go for another walk outside ....... i cant wait to take him places but we are having car problems so that might have to wait. Gives me more time for both of us to get used to his harness

I would imagine that taking the harness off could be tricky if there are any pin feathers that could get caught as you try to remove it from their head. A pin feather "ouch" would quite likely put a novice bird off wearing a harness again. Keep those feathers flat! I'm sure you will work it out between the two of you.

Ha ha ha its all good i got it on and took him out a bit longer and encouraged him to fly and open his wings to get used to the way the wind felt it was beautiful .... im going to have my hubb take a video clip tomorrow its pretty awsome seeing thoes wings and the way the colors look is so cool... hes got some powerfull wings and yes making sure all the feathres down is one en of the instructions on the box that came with the harness ..... but getting it off his head is tricky lol beut were getting the hang of it
