How many times has scientific consensus been proven wrong throughout the course of human history? Quite a lot, actually. What percentage of theory that is currently upheld by our world's scientific groups and organizations will be proven erroneous at various points in the future? And for that matter, how much flawed logic exists within certain scientific principles that we humans have adopted as gospel fact? A great deal I would bet! All it takes is misinterpretation during observational assessments and erroneous conclusion about empirically-derived results. Oh, and then there's the bandwagon factor. We humans -even scientists- tend to assume and jump in with group consensus, and at times even do so when challenge is warranted. IMHO that's one easy way to miss a mountain of truth.

Birds are indeed incredibly intelligent creatures. In addition to their ability to produce human speech, they are amazingly communicative through their other actions, as well as being remarkably perceptive and cunning! They are able to appropriately and impressively associate words and phrases with their meanings (which is precisely how human children learn to speak) and many species actually invent ways to use items as physical tools. I think the true "bird brains" may be those scientists who claimed birds were dumb ;) :th_shakehead:

And lets not forget their appreciation of human made music.
Casper has been rockin to Shania Twain, Janis Joplin and Cream this evening. The Cream's farewell concert ended in a bit of "crowd violence" as he decided to attack my fingers.
