Red palm oil....coconut oil?

Does anyone feed their parrot red Palm oil and/ or coconut oil? Mine do not like the taste of red Palm oil at all and will refuse their chop if I try to sneak it in.

Im not much help as the only thing ive used coconut oil for is luckys beak and feets and as for red palm oil i have no idea nwver heard en of it

First off, keep in mind the rainforests are being destroyed in order for grow more of the plants for that stuff.

Several years back, red palm oil was the next miracle additive to give the birds, sort of a miracle drug. Lots of birds would not eat that stuff, mine included.

I wish I had saved the info, but on another forum the one lady had dug up info on just how bad that could be for our babies.

Feed coconut oil instead.
