Where??? I can't see the video :(.It's there, Alice. Maybe your flash plugin for Firefox is outdated? Firefox automatically disables outdated plugins without notifying the user - I hate that about them. You might try clicking on the icon to the left of the URL in the address bar to see if you have any related messages or options there.

Salsa is a beauty! I love the colouring of Greenwings.
Your right as I suspected. There's lots of internet jargon up there. I don't know what fooling around there did but I see it now, thanks! You can actually here him crunching the dead nail parts and it even sounded as if they hit the bottom of the cage or floor. Hes so funny taking a lunge at the camera.
Great video :). Does Salsa actually take off length of the nail?..that would be pretty cool!

He has actually ripped my previous phone from my hand and violently hurled it to the floor. And the other day he lunged at this new phone, causing me to drop it and it hit the metal bar of a treadmill frame pretty hard. Luckily the phone seems okay, though. Gotta love 'em :D

That is awesome! He seems to be doing a good job. His feet are so much bigger than Rosies, it's funny. He is probably bigger than her weight wise as well. My vet said she is on the smaller size. I LOVE the big feet and toes on all the other GWs I see though.
Love the enough paparazzi lunge!!

I LOVE the big feet and toes on all the other GWs I see though.Hmm, his feet don't look that much bigger than Rosie's to me. Now Zaf's feet are truly a pair of HUGE clompers! But yes, Sals is quite the chunk of a bird! In the past he's weighed as much as in the low 1700 gram range. I think his current weight is in the mid to high 1500's, though. I have to watch how much he eats or he'll overindulge. The good news is that he's back into his daily flapping workouts. I never clip his wings and he never seems to get winded, despite great resistance from the air as he vigorously flaps. So I think he's in pretty good shape cardio-wise. When he first started his flapping workouts a few years ago he would huff and puff all over the place... I was concerned he may experience a heart attack. But no more :D
Love the enough paparazzi lunge!!I don't know why he hates cell phones so intently. His desire has always been to kill them by snatching and hurling them to the ground.

Rosies toes are very long and thin, thinner than Salsas. I tried to get pics of just her feet, but she did not approve. Yes, Salsa is much larger than my girl. I don't think she is even 1100 grams. She has very little interest in food. I have to remind her to eat when I hear her belly rumble. But her vet isn't concerned and said if she ever gets above 1200 grams it would be problematic bc she is small. So I try not to worry about it.
Salsa probably sees the phone as something that competes for your attention. I know Rosie does!!

Your theory is interesting that Sals may view my phone as a rival for my attention. I suppose it could be partly that... but I think it's mostly something else. He treats a particular pair of reading glasses that I have exactly the same way. He'll lunge out at them, rip them off of my face, then hurl them onto the floor. I seriously doubt that he considers those glasses to be competing for my attention ;). It may be more that he doesn't like the objects he has trouble understanding. So he may view it as: when you don't like something why not attack and destroy it? :D
I wonder if he may see his reflection in these electronics and "attacks" them away from you. Oh, neither of them are red are they? Like the vacuum....:giggle:

But that can't be it in our case. My Phone has a matte black cover that's immune to reflection. Right now, I think the most likely possibility is that Sals simply hates objects for which he sees no point in. It's like: "GET RID OF THAT STUPID THING! HERE, I'LL DO IT FOR YOU!!" ;)
