That may be because I've embedded it for you and the embedded players can take a while to load. Or, it could be because your browser's flash plugin isn't working properly any longer. Flash plugin versions are frequently disabled by Firefox (and perhaps by other browser providers) when they become security risks. And Firefox never tells you beforehand... the flash content suddenly just stops playing. So there are two possibilities.

Just goes to show that captive birds do have the ability to have long healthy lives. I would say poor Cookie, but she probably had a fairly decent life comparatively speaking.

Cookie had an excellent innings (cricket term) and even had an obit on the BBC website. RIP old girl.
