Senior Project!!

Hey everyone I need some help..

My proposal for my Senior Project is due WEDNESDAY and I need help figuring out what to do and FAST!

I want to do something parrot relate for sure, but can't figure out what! I am getting stuck at the point of knowing a good topic.. like " Where your pet parrot comes from", where i would discuss the dangerous and illegal trapping of parrots from the wild and shipment to the U.S... etc. etc.. but I can't figure out how to make it less of a research paper, and more of a senior project. I'm not sure if you guys understand what I am saying, but feel free to ask questions.

My project has to have a finished Product to it.. but anything I can think of to do with parrots really doesn't have that vital " product" in the end, just a long paper educating people on parrots, which is not what I need. I need to do something like volunteer work or whatever and have it turn into something great....

--- I actually just thought of something.. Maybe something like Building an aviary! I have always wanted one for my Nash, but have never gotten around to doing it.. This wouldn't be the whole project, but could be my product in the end! Oh wow this is a good idea! Now what is something else I can do to make it less " construction" and more "parrot" centered? Voice any thoughts and opinions.. you don't have to roll with my aviary idea, but something centered around parrots in general!

You could also go a little smaller like using foraging as your main topic. Why is it important for parrots to forage and the different ways that foraging can happen. End product could be a specific refillable foraging product?

I think it would need to be more elaborate than that.. but I do like that idea. Maybe I could do both things? Like plan up the "Perfect" wild-like aviary with foraging toys and plants and things to make it seem like it's the real wild.. a huge outdoor aviary even ? Idk!

Oh, NO!! Not senior project time! :). I lived through three of these with my kids! I like the outdoor aviary and foraging theme. As I recall, one of my kids did a vegan cookbook. Maybe a birdy cookbook..?..

I too like the idea of an aviary. Maybe expand on why birds need an outdoor aviary and how it contributes to a healthy life for parrots. You can also talk about foraging as well as suggested earlier. Your theme could be the happy healthy life of a companion parrot.
