Just heard of a new pellet. Anyone have any experience or info on it? I am looking for a healthier pellet for my Sennie who just likes Roudybush and Zupreem.

He has tried TOPS and Harrison's. He is the one bird that does not eat the fresh food, just carrots and corn so I can't even add it to that.

If you put some low sugar fruit juice spritzed on .....they will eat almost any pellet.Particularly pineapple and mixed berries.Although birds dont have a great sence of smell..there is enough smell and color to draw them in.

I will give it a try once we have moved. I suspect that he likes the crunch of them so I may have to get a little creative. Thanks for the suggestion. He has always been a little quirky....he chewed the powder coating off his first cage and would roll this around in his mouth. I bought him an aluminum cage which has been awesome as there is no more chewing of the cage, but I wonder if he transferred that chewing to his pellets. He is not a wood chewer and he likes larger pellets that he can hold with his foot.

I have no luck with getting Lady to eat pellets. I think I'm going to try adding the juice as well. Thanks for the tip Cedardave

I would like to know what the Macaws are picking at in that long blue framed thing in the picture. The ingredients sound great in this pellet, non gmo but are they organic? I also like the foraging toy the at the bottom as well as whatever the blue head is eating from. It reminds me of an outside bird feeder.

Have you heard of Tropical Carnival ZOO-Vital? It's a rice-based pellet with fruits & vegetables. They're colorful and smell like fruit to help entice the birds to eat them. Here's a link if you would like to learn more about them.

Here's a link to a page on the manufacturers website to learn more as well.

I've seen this brand in our local PetSmart store. Not sure if I ever tried it but made in the U.S. is always something I would look into.
