Well I see that their isn't a natural egg shell, but I guess the answer is yes if you make all the needed components come together so it can grow. Not to sure what was said in the video, but it was interesting. Makes me wonder what else mankind will try to do next and why.

Yes, the whole idea of sustaining the development outside of the egg also got me thinking how it may have human applications in the future.
