Mare, I got Paris in November shortly after Bellatrix passed away, because Dobby was so depressed without a friend. I adopted him from a lady on Craigslist who needed to downsize her flock. Sadly, Dobby passed away in February, and now Paris is my only budgie. I've been trying to befriend him, but he doesn't like me very much. Maybe one day he'll decide to. :)

I'm so sorry you've lost Dobby :(. I was at our local Nursery today, picking out flowers for my pots and a long time friend works there. We got to talking birds and one of her parakeets had died so she brought home another to keep it company. If Paris doesn't accept you, maybe think about bringing home some more company..?..

What a wonderful flock you have there Maddy. They all look like they know what the camera is too :). Glad to hear they are all doing well. They surely do look happy and healthy. I love Paris's bright yellow color! She looks like a spot of sunshine.

Mare, yes, I have considered getting another budgie friend for Paris. I'll keep trying to befriend him, but I am also keeping my eye on Craigslist for a budgie that needs a home.

Honey and Pressie are Green Cheek Conures. So is Peatree! :) They are all different types of GCC though. Honey is a Cinnamon GCC, Pressie is a Yellow Sided GCC, and Peatree is a Pineapple GCC.
