I swear, this bird keeps me laughing, never a dull moment when hanging around with Amigo. Here he is pulling off the food portal to an outside cage so's he can crawl through the hole and perch inside..?..

They do seem to prefer the little doors, Casper will take the opportunity to take the short cut if we don't close the catch properly but doesn't go as far as dismantling the cage like Amigo :)

The first time I saw him do this, a while ago, the cage door was latched closed so I could understand why he took off the portal to get inside. Since then, though, I've been leaving his door open so he could come and go whenever he wanted but, noooo...he prefers the tiny door :)
