View Full Version : We are such a SCENE!
Holy Moly! I'm down stairs, folding laundry and the dogs start going off. I run upstairs, open the door, Amigo is raising a ruckus in the yard, too. There is a large electric company truck in the upper yard so I walk out there to see what's going on.
Amigo is on top of the pole they are inspecting, screaming bloody murder at the truck, five dogs barking their heads off..I felt sorry for the folks trying to get something done. I quieted the dogs but Amigo was NOT letting up. I ask one of the men if everything's ok. He's looking up at Amigo and says, "Yeah..are YOU?"
How DARE he talk to me that way!! :th_biggrin: Anyways..they were checking on tree overgrowth. Something about those electric company people just pushes Amigo over the edge!

Lol. Amigo hates those electric guys. Were they nervous with him screaming at them?
I wouldn't call it nervous, Kendra, he wasn't flapping his wings at them. I would call it just off balanced.

Anyways..they were checking on tree overgrowth. Something about those electric company people just pushes Amigo over the edge! One of the things he probably hates is the fact that the workers tend to violate his domain. I'm sure he doesn't feel that they have the right to remove branches from his trees ;)

Perhaps they should sub-contract him the job of keeping the overgrowth away from the wires. Did you show them what he could do to an oak tree?
Tony, I think that's it, exactly! He knows what does not belong in his territory!
Jean-Pierre, no, I didn't show them Amigo's tree but probably should have! :)

I am sorry to laugh, but that bird cracks me up. I can just picture it in my head, the electric guys wondering why they got into that profession.
I love Amigo (he makes me laugh) and he keeps you on your toes Mare!
Thanks, Michelle, he keep things exciting around here, for sure! He's such a character :)
Amigo used to be VERY aggressive towards men, our son Noah, in particular but Tim has also been a target and other folks, male, that had dropped in. He has mellowed over the years but he will STILL do a fly-by and whack someone across the side of their head with his wing..little turd that he is :(

I know I shouldn't laugh but I can't help it. It is funny how the pick out the people (or gender) that they do not care fo
Amigo would make a good character in a comic strip or a children's book

No doubt, Michelle. I've had folks wanting to use my posts to use in their books for publishing. No..no..what I post here is for our enjoyment, only.
I am compiling what I write and will one day paste it in a book form.
