We've been hoping for more rain in California and we are GETTING IT! :). It started yesterday afternoon, rained all through the night and should continue for a couple more days. It's not a real cold storm, Amigo was out when it started and was loving his shower :)

I will send what we have to you! I was crappy here yesterday and it is crappy and cold here today, started snowing a little while ago thankfully it was the wet sloppy snow. I am so ready for spring and summer. My sons are driving me nuts being cooped up in the house :th_eek:

Glad you all are getting the much needed rain!

Michelle, I remember the days of being stuck inside, due to weather, with the energetic, young ones..it can take a lot of patience and spirit to get through it! :). They grow up SO fast..I would love to have some grandkids bugging me right now but my kids aren't cooperating:). Hang in there, Spring is coming!

Lol, if you want I can send you mine to borrow for a few weeks lol.

They are good boys, but I am truly ready for them to be able to get outside and wear off some of this energy if that is even possible lol.

Charlie likes having us all home, he seems happier and the days when we are all here which I am assuming means that he has accepted us as his flock and does not like it when some of us are gone at school work etc.

Yay for the rain and all the happy showers Amigo can get, Cali surely needs it!

I use to get some dollar store items with my paycheck once a month or so to keep aside for rainy days. Anything that we could do together or giving them something new always helped, but then again I had girls and they were always happy making beaded items or cutting up material and even coloring while enjoying popcorn. It was also a great time to teach them to help with preparing something to bake, or something for dinner.

We do like to play board games, and they have been pretty content today playing but then again I am not above bribery with either candy or time on the Ipad....

There are some great male tailors, fashion designers, sailmakers and chefs, don't keep the boys out the kitchen or away from the sewing machine. :)

Both of my sons loved spending time in the kitchen with me when they were young..my daughter, not as much. The boys are amazing grown men that love to cook..my daughter is amazing but as far as loving to cook..not so much :(. You just never know!

Here is Amigo rolling around in the wet leaves. He rubs his face, under wings, under carriage..all over the wet leaves. It's fun to watch him nose dive and roll around. I suppose this is how they would do it in the wild and it must feel like a full body scrub when he's done :)

I bet that's fun to watch. He's recovered from the "crash and burn" incident it seems?

Oh yeah, he's quite a hardy bird. Here is a pic of the damage he did to himself.

This pic was taken two days after his accident. If you can enlarge your screen, you'll notice that his eye got hit pretty hard, too :(. He's a lucky bird.

I can send Amigo all the rain he wants! About the time our yard dries up, here it comes again. We had planned on working on a new flower bed this weekend, but it's too cool to get out there and do it. It has been misting rain since we got up this morning.

I love the pics of Amigo in his tree!
