I love our little flock. I check in the morning when I get up to see what is new and how everyone is doing and then I check in later in the day. I love that we have this place to turn to for advice, questions, frustrations and most of all sharing our fids that have flown into our hearts! :grouphug:

This is the only parrot forum that I take part in, I have lurked on a UK forum but I am sure that they would get all sniffy if I mentioned that my bird had just pooped all over my laptop screen so I have never bothered to join them. :)

I love this group. Since we are a smaller group, I feel like I really do know the people posting. So I feel invested in their lives and those of their loved ones. Not very often you find such a great sense of community.

I also only belong to this forum, I haven't even looked at other ones, I did when I first googled "parrot forum" but when I clicked on the links they were full of adds and did not look very personable as to how the groups were arranged.

I really love that I can come on here and feel like I know the people and the birds. When I really start to miss Kiki getting on here and reading all the stories gives me the energy to keep going towards getting a place appropriate for a bird when I am ready to become a parront again.
